Prior to joining SFIA, I served on staff in the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and the United States Senate.
Building thirteen years SFIA’s advocacy and public affairs programs in Washington, D.C.
2005 – 2020 – CEO of Sports & Fitness Industry Association.
I oversea SFIA initiatives to promote sports participation & safety, health & fitness, international trade, and product standards, and serve as liaison to international and national sports federations and government agencies.
Leading the legislative campaign to pass and annually fund the Physical Education for Progress (PEP) program.
Launching the National PE Day and National Health Through Fitness Day.
Directing the global sports industry’s landmark campaign to end child labor in sports equipment production around the world.
